I first contacted West Coast safes at a local gun show. They didn’t have the exact safe I was looking for at the show at that time, but both representatives I spoke with were really friendly and answered all my questions. Their showroom is far from my home but I was so impressed with the diversity of products I could see on their website and my initial contact with them that I made the almost 2-hour drive on a Saturday. I was also prompted after I learned they were a master dealer of Ft. Knox safes. When I got to the showroom, I was walked through all the different products I wanted to see along with all the purtenant pros & cons of each product based on my intended use. I was not rushed and they know safes so no question was left unanswered. Once I had made my preliminary choice, I was provided a quote along with various options. Since I had been researching manufacturers, dealers, and pricing for quite some time I knew this was a good deal so I went ahead and placed an order that included delivery and setup. During the waiting period (typically 6-8 weeks for a custom order) I called several times to ask more questions and every person I spoke with (including the owner) was polite and showed a genuine concern for addressing any issue I brought up. On delivery day the crew (Anthony Sr., Anthony Jr., and Skip) showed up exactly when they said they would and began the setup to get my 1,900 pound safe in place inside the house. I was impressed with not only how easily they manipulated this safe but also how well they protected my flooring and everything else. They got it in place right where I wanted it, shimmed it so that it sat perfectly level so the door had a neutral bias, and cleaned it inside and out. I have to say that West Coast Safes strives to provide excellent customer service, has many great products they either already stock or can get, and every person who works there really does their best at whatever they are doing, whether it is selling you a safe or getting it to your home (or business). My interaction with them was the best ever from start to finish. If you are considering a safe purchase, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you at least didn’t give them a chance to meet your needs within your price range. Highly professional company doing an incredibly great job in the industry! Now I have my dream safe and I couldn’t be any happier!
