• Security Ratings are largely dependent on the thickness of steel in the safe itself. Thickness can range from lower end 10 gauge all the way up to 3/16″ (7 gauge).  National Security Gun Safes have a good selection of RSC rated safes. Check them out in our showroom.
• Fire Rating is determined by the length and temperature the safe is rated for. An example is a popular safe from National Security Gun Safes; The Magnum 25 is rated for 2 1/2 hours at 1200°F.
