    I bought the Fatboy 48 from West Coast Safes in Ontario, California. I got a great price on the safe. They delivered and installed the safe for a reasonable price. The Fatboy 48 is the perfect size for my personal needs. I like the two-pronged security system (combination and key lock). The interior has a great set up. You can store firearms and magazines on the door’s pouches, which leaves extra room to store ammo and additional items on the shelves of the safe. The shelves and carpeting inside the safe are well made. Overall, for the price I paid I feel I got a great quality safe for a good value. I would highly recommend a Liberty safe. If you happen to live in Southern California, I would highly recommend West Coast Safes. They have a great staff (from the in-store staff to the delivery staff) who are very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional.

    I absolutely love this safe. It came with the grey marble finish and the electronic lock. I added on a dehumidifier and power cord. I am very happy with the ease of working the safe and adjusting the shelving. The only thing I wouldn’t do again is add the power cord. It is in the back on the outside so it’s not accessible. I do wish it would have came with USB ports on the inside of the safe. Other than that, I love it. It was well made and in my opinion, high quality.

In many cases their property is irreplaceable; your wife’s jewelry, the rifle your father had when he was a kid, the items that mean more to you than anyone else. With a family of five I wasn’t sure if I could afford a high quality safe.     I PURCHASED MY LIBERTY FATBOY JR AT A RETAIL STORE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE SAFE WAS ON SALE FOR 1,449.99. DURING MY WALK THROUGH OF THE STORE. I KEPT COMING BACK TO THE SAFE DUE TO THE PRICE AND QUALITY . THE DOOR AND INTERIOR WERE BUILT WITH JUST AS MUCH PROTECTION AS A 3,000.00 SAFE. THE OVERALL LOOK OF THE SAFE IS GREAT TOO. THE SAFE ONLY COMES IN BLACK, I DO WITH IT HAD OTHER COLORS. THE SAFE WAS PLENTY BIG FOR THE AMOUNT OF GUNS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS I OWN. I ALSO HAVE ROOM TO ADD TO MY FIREARM COLLECTION. OVERALL I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE SAFES QUALITY FOR THE LOW PRICE.

    Fatboy Jr, is a good value for a larger safe particularly when offered on promotion. It is a lighter gauge steel however and the mechanical lock feels a little cheap. I may have a locksmith put a better lock on the safe. For a gun safe this is very good due to size. Shelf configuration is somewhat limited due to the fixed position of the center support.. Over all a very nice safe for the entry level cost.

    I have owned smaller, cheaper made safes and I could not be happier with the Liberty Fat Boy Jr.! This is a beast of a safe!!!
    It’s not so big that it needs its own room, but it’s not so small that you can’t fit all of your equipment in it. It’s just right!!!
    This safe is so well made that when I saw it I knew it was the one for me.
    The price was also right where I needed it to be.
    I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

    I had been looking for a quality gun safe for over a year and a half. I had seen the safes at Costco and Tractor Supply, but knew they were not good quality. I had seen Rhino Ironworks at shooting fairs, etc. and other brands that escape my memory, but had been to the showroom various times and kept going back to the Liberty Brand.

    This safe is excellent for my current and future needs. I hope to not overfill it and have to upgrade to another any time soon. The USA made counts a lot in my book as does the lifetime warranty if it is damaged by fire or thieves.
