I bought the Centurion 18 as this is the 1st safe I have needed. After much searching & comparison shopping among the many different option Liberty offers among it’s line of safe, this made the most sense for me at this time. The high fire rating is very important to protect valuables and shooting irons/ammo. The last thing one needs is ammo being activated by a fire. This happened to me with ammo & guns I lost over 35 yrs ago. Too much of the house burned at that time because discharging ammo in the fire prevented the firefighters from killing the fire sooner. Had I has a Liberty safe, or any safe with a little fire protection, more of my childhood home would not have burned as it did. So I now have a great ease among my mind knowing that my ammo will not discharge in a fire should one happen again. With the changing of laws, this will eliminate the possibility of being charged with a crime.

I just purchased my second Liberty Centurion safe. I have found that Liberty backs their product in an excellent manner. I get the mechanical manual combination dial lock system due to the warranty from Liberty which I think is for the length of time you own the safe. Check out how the different lock systems are warrantied Other types such as the electronic key pads may have limited time warranties which is understandable. My first Liberty safe needed a repair after several years and they contacted an expert repair person who was friendly and professional. Repairs made at no cost or extra effort from me. Being made in USA was a big deal. When you order a safe you may want to think about getting a bit bigger one than you think you need. The folks at Liberty and the retail outlet I used in California were great. You get what you pay for. If you are a first time buyer do yourself a favor and go to an outlet so you can do a hands on examination of your potential buy or at least call Liberty or a trusted outlet to discuss your needs. The shape size of your weapons along with scopes can affect how they fit in a safe. Don’t forget the usefulness of a dehumidifier and strongly consider getting it anchored into your foundation if feasible. For type of humidifier my preference is the electronic “wand” type. Make sure your installation will leave you room in the back to replace the wand if it ever needs replacement. Be smart and get your weapons in a safe.

USA Made and a Lifetime Warranty. Plus, it was one of the few that fit going up our staircase. Happy with the purchase!
So, I ordered the safe online through Liberty. The next day I get a call from Heather asking that the safe will be ready in 24-48 hours. I schedule a date for pickup and contact her at the counter. Casey helped load up the safe into the pick up bed at the side of the store. Casey was careful with the loading of the safe into my friend’s pickup, who was also concerned about any damage. Casey allayed his fears by first placing a piece of cardboard onto the bed of the truck to prevent damage. No damage of course. Casey even threw in some bolts for the bolt down. West Coast Safes is the best!
